![]() When you start silencing the mind, a lot of repressed memories and emotions can rise to the surface. I don't think it is discussed enough, but it needs to be said. ![]() Now this is one of the possible "dangers" of doing something positive like meditation, I have experienced it many times and it can be really rough. EXPERIENCING STRONG EMOTIONS AND REPRESSED MEMORIES If it starts to feel uncomfortable or too much, stop listening to the audio and have a drink of water and something light/easily digestible to eat. It's common to experience some light-headedness while listening to these audios. Louder volume does not increase the effectiveness of the audios. There is no need to have the volume too loud and you do not want to destroy your hearing. You should be listening to these audios at a comfortable level. Only listen to them when you are able to relax. Even the soundscapes were designed to be hypnotic and relaxing. Remember that these audios are designed to hypnotize, relax and send you into meditative mind states. It sounds like an obvious one but some of these audios are really nice to listen to and people might be tempted to listen to "Soothing Spring Rain Sounds" while driving, not realizing the hypnotic effect the audio has. ![]() DO NOT LISTEN TO THESE AUDIOS WHILE DRIVING OR WHEN YOU NEED TO BE ALERT Other forms of brainwave entrainment, such as monaural beats and isochronic tones are said to be safe but please check with your physician before listening to them. Please don't listen to binaural beat audios if you have Epilepsy or suffer from seizures. Unfortunately binaural beats can possibly trigger seizures in people who are vulnerable to them. IMPORTANT! Do Not Listen To Binaural Beats if You Have Epilepsy or Seizures
